This is a solo publication that explores the mind in a broad sense. Thriving on the intersection of the timeless and the cutting-edge, the clariame presents the neuroscience and psychological research findings, holistic wellness (with a focus on trauma care), cultural insights, analysis, and investigations into phenomena.
Founded in 2025 by Camille Z., a writer and artist with an academic and professional background in both the arts and social sciences, and trilingual abilities that broaden the research, perspectives, and access to sources behind the work. Written primarily in plain English, I take a combined approach of journalism and creative nonfiction. Weekly stories consist of evidence-driven, straightforward information reporting on Wednesdays and reflective, research-informed, real-life exploration-based reflections on Saturdays.
I value factual accuracy and respect privacy. There are established theories, recent research studies, historical facts, documented cultural phenomena, social events, research-informed strategies, and naturally observed patterns. All sources are credible and verifiable; stories and characters are non-identifiable.
Although many self-care approaches are worth considering, here the editorial voice is committed to reporting and advocating for holistic wellness, understanding that body, mind, and context are deeply interconnected. Overall, I stay informative without drowning you in jargon or asking you to take anything on faith.

Artificial Intelligence Use
Don’t: Writing, editing, curating.
Sometimes: Brainstorming ideas, facilitating research, or suggesting sentence reconstruction.
Do: Proofreading.
Opinion about AI-related concerns
In my experience, current GenAI models are not yet able to write long-form articles with the coherence, depth, creativity, and intelligence of humans.
In both academic and publishing settings, they usually produce generic filler or even statements that undermine the main topic/premise. For research and fact-checking, they frequently hallucinate, misinterpret information, contradict themselves, or just mirror the user’s language and ideas. As a result, you may spend more time revising prompts and checking their work than you save by using them.

FAQs
What is your approach?
Writing: Journalism + creative nonfiction
Model: free weekly articles + free daily facts (social medias) + special issues (monthly & quarterly) + original products
Are you a journal?
No. This is a public-facing, leisure-reading magazine. Although occasional heavily researched and cited articles might cosplay like a paper.
Find our full disclaimer here.
Are stories real?
Some stories are fictional or composites, used as illustrative devices; others are drawn from real events with details and identities altered. In all cases, the research and reporting remain factually rigorous, and a short note clarifying this usually appears at the end of each story.
Why did you start it?
I genuinely believe in the power of words and that clear, reliable information can improve one’s quality of life.
I find joy in reading, thinking, researching, creating, and editing, and above all, discovering the small beauties hidden in the ordinary while celebrating the complexity and bittersweetness of human life.
Why “special issues” over membership?
While a paid subscription was initially considered, this magazine eventually offers free weekly articles and mainly operates on a one-off purchase basis for its special issues and products. Flexible and pressure-free.
Why both information and reflection?
As a part-time scholar, full-time lifelong learner who survived DV, SA, and a dysfunctional family of origin, I value knowledge, observe patterns, and validate feelings. I believe this combination brings the most effective form of healing and overall personal growth.
Will you collaborate with other creators?
Eventually, yes. Guest contributions will appear in the future. But currently, everything is created by the founder, all the creative, editorial, and business sides.
What does “clairame” mean?
“Clairame” merges the French words for “clarity” and “soul,” reflecting a deep interest in exploring the mind.
Can I republish your articles?
No, all original content is copyrighted. For more media partnerships, however, feel free to contact or find information in terms & conditions.
